West Tampa CRA Meeting

On October 23, 2017 the public is invited to attend the first of three community meetings that will focus on the City of Tampa’s Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Strategic Action Plan for the West Tampa CRA. In 2015 the City of Tampa designated the West Tampa Community Redevelopment Area, per Florida statute. The next step is the development of a strategic action plan to guide the use of revenues and redevelopment initiatives. The Strategic Action Plan (SAP) for the West Tampa CRA will be a five-year plan, with one-year increments, which identifies specific programs/investments within the West Tampa Redevelopment area.

The West Tampa CRA redevelopment area includes all public and private property located within its boundaries: North – West Columbus Drive; South – South Kennedy Blvd.; West – N. Armenia Ave.; and East – Hillsborough River.

Ongoing meetings of the newly formed West Tampa Community Redevelopment Area.  The West Tampa Chamber holds a board seat represented by Mr. Ed Turanchik.  All Chamber Members are welcome to attend.  The West Tampa Chamber represents the voice of business across the West Tampa area.  Comments from the audience are open at the end of the meeting only.
